It’s important to care for your clothing the best way possible.
Here are some tips to get the longest life out of your Miakoda clothing:
Cold Wash, Air Dry
Machine wash in cold water and lay flat or line dry. Heat damages the fiber of the clothing. Washing your clothing with cold water will preserve the fibers, allowing your clothing to look great longer and last longer! Dryers are also very rough on fibers, slowing breaking them down over time. Skip the dryer and air dry your clothing. It’s better for the clothing and better for the environment.
Tips + Tricks:
Use a natural and cruelty free laundry detergent.
Turn your clothing inside out before washing. This helps to prevent pilling from clothing rubbing against each other in the wash.
We suggest washing your Miakoda garments together along side other gentle fabrics. Avoid anything abrasive such as denim, thick twills, and garments with zippers.
Avoid fabric softener.
