Care Instructions
Caring for your clothing properly ensures it will stay in your closet for years to come. As seasoned outfit repeaters, we are here to help. Just do this:
Cold Wash, Air Dry
Machine wash in cold water (or hand wash if you like). Lay flat or line dry. Heat damages the fiber of the clothing; washing your clothing with cold water will preserve them. Dryers are rough on clothing fibers, and break them down over time. Skipping the dryer is win for your clothes and the environment (plus, saved $).
Level 2 Tips
These tips take a little more work, but they're worth it. To extend garment life, try...
... using a natural (and cruelty free) laundry detergent and avoid fabric softener (bye!)
... turning your clothing inside out before washing (prevents pilling from clothing rubbing against each other in the wash).
...washing your Miakoda garments together along side other gentle fabrics (i.e., not jeans and towels, avoid anything abrasive such as denim, thick twills, and garments with zippers).
